Activités

G4S est le n° 1 mondial des prestations de services de sécurité. Le CA par activité se répartit comme suit :

- prestations de services de sécurité (80,9%) : prestations de gardiennage, de patrouille, de surveillance pénitentiaire, systèmes de contrôle d'accès, d'identification des biens et des personnes, alarmes anti-intrusion, etc. ;

- transport et gestion de fonds (19,1%) .

La répartition géographique du CA est la suivante : Royaume Uni et Irlande (23,1%), Europe continentale (28%), Amérique du Nord (22,6%), Asie-Pacifique (8,9%), Moyen Orient (6,7%), Afrique (6,1%) et Amérique latine et Caraïbes (4,6%) .

1968

  • Jørgen Philip-Sørensen takes responsibility for Group 4’s European activities, while his brother Sven Philip-Sørensen takes over Securitas AB in Sweden.

  • Group 4 establishes operations in the United Arab Emirates and the Ukraine.
